Take a look at our collection of in-stock foam grips for your project.
Our in-stock foam tubing is made from nitrile rubber and EPDM.
30 years of experience as a foam grip manufacturer helps us create your custom foam grips with expertise.
In 1973 Grab On was the first company to make foam grips. To do this we developed a new process for rapid grinding of extruded foam rubber. The first grips we made were for ten-speed bicycles. Next came motorcycle grips and eventually industrial grips for the OEM market.
Today we make thousands of custom grips out of long lasting high density foam. We have the knowledge and experience to bring you the best grips at competitive pricing.
Grab On has a large selection of in-stock foam grips that ship out within 24 hours. Thirty years of experience as a foam product manufacturer enables us to create your custom handle grip in a hurry. Our staff will gladly work with you to design a foam grip that is exactly the right shape, texture, and density for your project.
Adding soft grip handles to your product is one of the best investments you can make.

Designing new hand grips with foam in mind saves the high cost of injection molds. Our large assortment of stock tooling means that in most cases there is no tooling charge. Tooling to manufacture milled foam grips is much less expensive than complicated injection molds.
The most common cause of blisters is repeated friction against a hard object. Cushion grips minimize blisters; they also eliminate heat burns caused by sun exposure on handle bars.
Because foam compresses into all the irregular shapes of the hand this increases the total surface area available for gripping. Also, since your hand compresses the foam it actually creates a mechanical advantage for gripping much like starting blocks do for the sprinter.
Whether hot or cold, foam insulates. One of our customers uses our grips on his wood-burning tools to insulate from the heat. Foam tubing can be used on heating and air conditioning lines to insulate and keep operators from excess heat. Foam tubing insulation is also a great way of providing a shock absorbing protective layer to the object being insulated.
High on the list is the ability of foam grips to conform to your hand, creating a more comfortable grip and less fatigue for the hand.
Foam grips decrease the amount of high-frequency vibration and shock transmitted to the hands. This is a big benefit for things like motorcycle grips and grips for yard equipment like trimmers/weed eaters where your hands would otherwise be exposed to vibration for long periods of time.
